IA Cocktail Hour - 24 July 2008

The next Canberra IA Cocktail Hour is this Thursday 24 July 2008. Stephen Collins, owner of AcidLabs and futurist/socialiser/writer/designer/strategist extraordinaire is going to be speaking about Enterprise 2.0.

Enterprise 2.0 is about moving (often large and bureaucratic) organisations forward in the way they use technology, particularly into the social, networked, collaborative world.

As you can imagine, this is a challenging and contentious space, with lots of hot debates and ideas. Fresh from the Enterprise 2.0 conference in Boston, Stephen is going to walk us through some of the different perspectives and real-world approaches that are central to all this buzz.

Join us for what’s sure to be an entertaining and interesting meeting. You’re also welcome to come for an informal dinner afterwards in Manuka/Kingston.

Time: 17:30-19:00
Day/Date: Thursday 24 July 2008
Venue: Stamford Interactive
Level 1
301 Canberra Avenue (right near Officeworks)

Please RSVP to [facibus AT gmail DOT com] as soon as possible for catering purposes.
